Island Adventure Tampa

There's no doubt that Florida is home to a variety of amazing vacation destinations. One is the Island Adventure Tampa theme park. This park contains a wide variety of water slides, rides and attractions. There is something for the whole family at this massive park. You will find attractions ranging from mild to wild and everything in between. Admission to the park is reasonably priced and you can get deals, discounts and passes based on your particular needs. There are even Adventure Camps where kids can spend a whole week at the park.


You're probably wondering about all the things to experience at this Tampa park. One attraction is called Endless Surf. Here you can enjoy waves as high as five feet tall in a 17,000 square foot wave pool. Then there's Paradise Lagoon, an action packed area featuring a cliff jumping area, cable slides a rope walk, waterfalls and a pool. Although these attractions are for older kids and adults, there are others designed especially for younger children. For example, Fabian's Funport has a miniature wave pool, bubbling springs and an aquatic gym on which young children can play.

If water slides are your favorite thing you will find no shortage of them at this park. One is called Aruba Tuba, which sends riders in inner tube type seats through covered and uncovered turns and twists. For hardcore water slide enthusiasts there is the Caribbean Corkscrew, which offers 230 feet of tube slides and a 47 foot deceleration lane. If you're an adrenaline junkie then you can't miss the Gulf Scream, a body slide that sends you hurtling down 210 feet of steep slide at speeds of approximately 25 miles per hour. These are just a portion of the slides and rides offered at the park.

The Island Adventure Tampa theme park is not only a great place to bring your family but also ideal for fun group events. No matter who you bring along you're sure to have a blast. When you get hungry there are a variety of dining establishments from which you can choose, including Surfside Cafe, Gulf Scream Ice Cream and the Bayou Beach club to name just three. These casual restaurants offer a wide range of menu items to please every palate.
