On your vacation you might get to see the harpy eagle, toucan, scarlet macaw or one of Costa Rica's other colorful bird species. Mammals include a variety of monkey species such as the capuchin and howler monkey.

When considering the right island, Costa Rica should be given some serious consideration because of all its wonderful ecological features.
